Outstanding Hermetic Sealing

Containers with advanced hermetic sealing performance that pass the pressure test standards established by the IATA
*IATA stands for the International Air Transport Association.

In meeting the package safety standards established by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in its Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), Kinki Yoki repeatedly tests and improves its containers and develops its original products to ensure against any leakage of contents under conditions of high water or air pressure.

We have also acquired certificates of conformance issued by an IATA assessment agency.

Hydraulic test

This highly rigorous test is only passed when the container shows absolutely no leakage – not just under the lid but also the inner plug.

All of our IATA-compliant containers have passed hydraulic testing conducted according to package safety standards in the Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), ensuring reliable and secure usage during air transportation and exporting.

*Containers have not been officially registered as IATA-compliant.

Hydraulic Testing
The container is first filled with fluid and sealed before the test pressure is applied to various areas, including the lid, for 30 minutes to check for leakage. Standard testing pressure (based on IATA regulations): 95kPa
