In order to minimize any environmental impact potentially caused by our business operations, we have obtained Step 2 Certification of KES (Environmental Management Standard).

We also strategically plan and implement specific goals and objectives as part of our everyday efforts to tackle environmental problems. While reviewing the course and effects of our activities, we continue to make further improvements.

Basic Principles
Kinki Yoki Co., Ltd. shall work to minimize the environmental impact of its operations through organization-wide efforts, in recognition that protecting the global environment is one of the most important tasks facing humanity as a whole.

Policies

Kinki Yoki Co., Ltd. shall implement environmental management activities in accordance with the policies set forth below with the goal of minimizing the environmental impact of its products and services, as well as that of all of the activities involved in the production and sale of its plastic containers, so as to bring its operations in harmony with the global environment.

  • We shall remain mindful of the environmental impact of our activities, products, and services at all times, and endeavor to minimize this impact through continuous improvement of our environmental performance while protecting our communities from harm (pollution).
    Environmental protection includes efforts to conserve biodiversity and ecosystems, respond to and mitigate climate change, and utilize sustainable resources.
  • We shall work to ensure that all our activities, products, and services comply with applicable laws and requirements.
  • As we strive to minimize the environmental impact of our activities, products, and services, we shall focus on the following efforts as our environmental management priorities.
    1. Energy saving : Reduction of electricity consumption
    2. Resource saving : Maintaining tap water usage
    3. Resource saving : Reduction of copy paper usage
    4. Recycling : Recycling general waste
    5. Community awareness activities : Such as neighborhood cleaning projects, collecting bell marks
  • We shall work to encourage the active adoption by individuals of activities that reduce the environmental burden as well as inform all our employees of this declaration and make its content available to the general public.
  • We shall work to actively participate in environmental improvement activities in the communities surrounding our offices and factories as well as within the greater municipalities and industrial associations of which we are part.

We Actively Support Childcare!

Due to declining birthrates and an aging population, there is a strong demand for workplaces that expand the scope of female activity in the workforce while allowing parents to both work and raise children in order to boost socio-economic activity and supplement labor shortages.

Accordingly, we work to create a company environment that offers all employees the chance to choose their working style based on their individual lifestyles and circumstances. We review and revise company regulations on childcare leave as well as announce and implement programs offered during pregnancy and before and after childbirth so that our diverse personnel are able to be active and fully realize their potential.

Regarding our Plan of Action pursuant to the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children

In building a foundation that allows both men and women to work and raise children, we promise to create a corporate climate and structure that allows our diverse personnel to be active and fully realize their potential while offering all employees the chance to choose their working style based on their individual lifestyles and circumstances.

Objective 1Announcement and implementation of programs offered to employees during pregnancy and before and after childbirth
Establishment and implementation of a counseling system, provision of information, and announcement of programs concerning employees to ensure the health of female employees during pregnancy and after childbirth.
Objective 2Announcement and implementation of systems accompanying the review and revision of current rules of employment and regulations on childcare leave
Notification of all systems concerning leave before and after childbirth pursuant to Labor Standards Law and childcare leave benefits, etc. pursuant to the Child Care and Family Care Leave Act.
Objective 3Increase the number of annual holidays (over 110 days)
Implement measures contributing to a diverse array of working styles. We will work to reduce working hours and promote work styles that focus on labor productivity and the efficiency of each employee as part of our efforts to reform the workplace.
